Hi There <3
As a FUN SIZED (plus-sized) model, I have faced many challenges, but I succeed. I believe that beauty comes in all shapes sizes, and I want inspire others to embrace their bodies and pursue their dreams. Join me on this journey I work towards becoming a supermodel and breaking down barriers in the fashion.
My PCOS makes me stronger...
I started modeling in 2017 because I did not think that I could do it. I was never someone who sought the spotlight and no one gave me that attention except my close friends and family, but modeling was something I always WANTED to do. I did not think that it was attainable until I started college. I first went to William Peace University in Raleigh, NC and if you know anything about Raleigh, it has many opportunities there for models. I started modeling to see if I would be successful, then I kept going to reassure myself that I can do this, but now I model for others.
Modeling has boosted my self-esteem and I hope that the light I shine can motivate others who are like me and who look like me to achieve anything they set their mind to. I was also in the healthcare field and almost all of my life people have said to me that you can only do one thing with your life. Luckily, I am stubborn and I am going to do way more than one thing with my life.
In addition, In 2016 I was diagnosed with PCOS. PCOS is short for Polycystic Ovary Syndrome and it a hormonal disorder roughly affecting 1 in 10 women. It affects A LOT of women for it to go unnoticed, so overall my goal is to share that I am a real woman who has real problems, but if I can do this, then so can you.
So who AM I?
I am more than just a model. I am a:
- Teacher
- Mentor
- Actor
- Show Producer
- Creative Designer
- A survivor
- Persistent and Independent Black woman living in America...
And so much more!
